This LEGO Star Wars photography series is superb

You're right - there is a lot of Star Wars love going around on the web right now. And until J.J. Abrams lets everyone down, we're going to bask in it for as long as possible.

It's not like you're annoyed by it either, otherwise you wouldn't have clicked all the way over here to have a look at Vesa Lehtimaki's excellent photo series, taken from the new book LEGO Star Wars Small Scenes from a Big Galaxy.

To create these awe-inspiring shots, the Finnish photographer borrowed his son's LEGO toys (at least, he claims they were his son's), giving them a theatrical life of their own with some touches of camera magic.

We've a feeling some LEGO sets are about to rise to the top of your Christmas wish list...
