There's been an awakening. Wait, sorry - wrong episode.
There's been a casting rumour for this year's deep space saga, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, with the film obsessives of FlickeringMyth.com reporting that not only will Darth Vader be appearing in Gareth Edwards' flick, but they know who'll be playing him.
Spencer Wilding!
No? Us neither - though you've almost certainly seen the British actor's stunt work in titles including Guardians of the Galaxy, Batman Begins, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and Wrath of the Titans.
FlickeringMyth.com's source reports that Wilding has been running lines while on set, suggesting that Vader will have a speaking role in the film: in the original trilogy, British actor David Prowse donned the famous black suit of Vader, providing lines on set before being dubbed over by James Earl Jones. However, it's yet to be confirmed if Earl Jones will be reprising his role for Rogue One.
Surely he will? Anyone else would be a rogue choice.
