You're hip. You're cool.
It's been said you "know where it's at".
You completed Monument Valley while your mates all played Candy Crush. You can't remember the last time you set foot in a high street store. You started subscribing to YouTube channels before your mates had a Netflix account.
Yet despite making the zeitgeist your lap dog, you still haven't clocked this little trick: YouTube has a 'secret' play/pause button.
As revealed by this rather swear-heavy video from GradeAUnderA, the space-bar to pause method is an unreliable, often irksome method of pausing a video that can result in the screen scrolling down.
The actual dedicated play/pause button is 'K'.
Further more, 'J' is a 10 second rewind, and 'L' is a 10 second fast forward.

And here's ANOTHER trick you might not know about: pressing numbers '1' to '9' allows you to skip through percentages of a video.
So hitting '1' takes you 10 per cent through a video, '2' takes you 20 per cent through, '5' is 50 per cent and so on.
You're welcome.
