Who? Hotei, featuring Richard Z. Kruspe
What’s the story? 40 million albums sold is pretty impressive: and we bet a lot of you have never even heard of Hotei. Well, he's an incredibly successful Japanese guitarist, who's been in the game for over 30 years - and Tarantino fans among you will be familiar with his most famous track, Battle Without Honor or Humanity, which featured in Kill Bill. Despite being around for so long, he's only just got round to releasing his first UK album, Strangers, and he's teamed up with a host of guests, including the likes of Iggy Pop and Bullet for my Valentine's Matt Tuck. This atmospheric new video is for the track Move It, which features Rammstein guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe taking lead vocals - and it's a lean, taut, riffing beast of a track which works rather brilliantly. And while we're here, Richard can you get Rammstein to release a new album soon? Thanks.
For fans of: Jack White, Nine Inch Nails
In three words: Industrial riffing blast
