The Raven trailer

Now, call us sick and depraved if you like but we've always had a fondness for serial killer movies.

There's something unavoidably entertaining about an evil villain being hunted down by a brilliant detective, preferably one who ripped their rule book to shreds.

Which means you can colour us rather excited about The Raven. It's a 19th century-set thriller which stars John Cusack as famed author Edgar Allen Poe, who discovers that a depraved mind is on a killing spree, using his books as inspiration.

The trailer promises plenty of gore, intrigue, twists and funny hats. We're in. Check it out below:
