The Motion Sensing Mouse Replacement

The days are numbered for the mouse. The computer kind, not the unwanted visitor hiding behind your fridge. If the Senic Flow control has its way, we'll soon be switching left clicks for swipes and taps. We'd have called it The Cat...

Built for graphic designers, video editors and CAD wizards, the Flow is a motion sensor control that aims to give users a more precise, sensitive experience when interacting with their computers.

The elegant circle is packed with an array of sensors and controls: the metal wheel around the edge of the Flow holds over 1,000 accuracy points, while the central sensor can either be waved at, stroked or tapped. Connecting to your computer or gadgets via Bluetooth, the Flow has preset controls for over 30 applications (including a multitude of Adobe editing platforms, Spotify, YouTube and iOS software) - and comes with an open platform to let you tinker it for your own uses.

Having just passed its IndieGoGo funding goal, you can put in an order for your own Flow control for around £70.

For more details, you can watch the bizarrely impassioned project video below.
