The Man In The High Castle Given Full Series

Good news for Philip K. Dick fans: The Man In The High Castle has been commissioned by Amazon Prime for a full series.

The pilot was one of 13 that aired last month, all hoping to make the jump to a full-time role and The Man In The High Castle aced the test, receiving the largest viewership and the most positive response thus far to any Amazon pilot.

Based on the first show, the series may not be 100% faithful to the source material - the classic 1962 dystopian novel by Philip K. Dick - but it should be a must-watch nonetheless.

Ridley Scott is executive producing, with Luke Kleintank as Joe Blake, together with Alexa Davalos as Juliana Crain continuing their roles. The storyline involves a fascinating look into what would have followed had the Allies lost World War II, with Germany and Japan reigning supreme as the world's dominant superpowers.

You can watch the pilot on Amazon Prime now or, if you are not a subscriber, watch clips here. The full series is expected to air either later this year, or early 2016.
