The late Alan Rickman features in the new teaser for Alice in Wonderland

Through the Looking Glass, the sequel to trippy children’s story Alice in Wonderland will be hitting celluloid screens later this year and the first teaser trailer is here.

Obviously this is every bit as colourful and scatty as you’d imagine, all wrapped around P!nk singing a cover of Jefferson Airplane classic White Rabbit, but that standout part has got to be hearing the late great Alan Rickman’s dulcet tones wrap around you as the voice of Absolem the Caterpillar.

The film, which follows on from the 2010 Tim Burton directed Alice In Wonderland, will once again see the return of Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska and Rhys Ifans but it’ll surely be the voice of Rickman that will really bring a lump to our throats.
