This dog's master is smart.
Pixar fan Steve Minty has had prop-maker Tim Baker make this doghouse for his canine companion, modelled on the old man's house in Up. And yes, faithful to the film, Minty's dog is also called Dug.
The project is part of Super-Fan Builds, a web series where Hollywood's top prop-makers turn film concepts into everyday useful items. Previous builds have included a Batman The Dark Knight baby stroller, a cat litter box and scratching post based on Bilbo's house at Hobbiton, and some Final Fantasy kitchen knives.
You can watch the video below to see Baker and his team at work.
The detail on the house is amazing, from the fact that it "hovers" above the ground, right down to the tiny garden hose secured to the front wall.
We're not altogether convinced that it's necessary for Minty to dress as a boy scout, though. But, whatever. As long as it doesn't get weirder than this, we're impressed.
