Time for a quick pop culture history lesson.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set 30 years after the Battle of Endor - that silly fight in a wood with the mini bears that culminated in the destruction of the second Death Star. Around 29 years after that, the Battle of Jakku took place, littering the dessert of the planet in the megastructures of starships and war craft.
We've got no idea what went down - but we will soon, thanks to Star Wars: Battlefront.
EA and DICE have revealed that their multiplayer title will feature a mission precluding the events of J J Abrams' new film. It'll give gamers everywhere the chance to smugly nudge their mates in the ribs and whisper "I shot that down" during the film's opening sequences with Rey (Daisy Ridley).
We can't wait.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on 17 November, with Battle of Jakku arriving 8 December
