Harry Potter is about to do Grand Theft Auto. No it’s not a bit of DLC or mod for GTA V (although that would be ace), but rather the new teaser trailer for BBC film The Gamechangers, starring Daniel Radcliffe as co-founder of Rockstar Games.
As you can see in the trailer (above), Radcliffe sports a natty beard to play videogame pioneer Sam Houser, who feuds with Christian lawyer Jack Thompson, (played by Bill Paxton) over the controversial videogame series - which in turn caused a bit of controversy between the Beeb and Rockstar games itself.
The film will see the pair cross paths over a three year period, starting in 2002 after the release of Grand Theft Auto III.
It’s all shaping up for an interesting affair and will sure to have tongues wagging when it debuts on BBC Two on 15 September.
