REVEALED: The Final 5 Entries For Our ShortList Shorts Competition In Partnership With Raindance

Stuff your Oscars. Keep your BAFTAs. It's all about the ShortList Shorts competition in sponsored_longform with Raindance Film Festival, and having whittled many, many entries down we can now bring you the final five. Hurrah.

Hundreds of you responded to our call to make a short film themed around 'A bad day at the office’ - so a huge pat on the back to anyone who entered, well done - and given we know one or two things about shortlists, let us assure you that the talent possessed by these debut filmmakers is frightening.

The winner will be announced at the ShortList Gala Screening at Raindance Festival tomorrow night, right before a screening of Matt Wilde's Kicking Off - and should you want to come along and see the prize awarded in person, tickets are still available.

In the meantime you can watch the five still in the running, below

Dan? – Uzo Oleh

How to get a promotion – Matthew Fletcher

Paper Error – Joshua Thornton

The Late Shift – Stephen Gallacher

Buzz Kill – Stephen Graves and Ced Yuen

Content Director

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
