Nike Air Presto makes a welcome return

Back in the summer of 2000, Nike released a new, versatile trainer model. A graphic-print upper supported by a rubberised lacing system, the label marketed the quirky trainer as "t-shirts for your foot".

15 years later, with sneakerheads buying up woven prints and unique graphics faster than makers can supply them, Nike has seen fit to bring back its Presto model.

Sticking to its lightweight roots with a breathable mesh upper, the new Presto is a sleek, minimal shoe. Plastic features heavily, both on the lacing cage that extends round the heel, and in a tonal black toe guard.

Currently set to drop in a black and white model on 30 May, you can expect a riot of colours to follow the return of this trainer throughout the summer.

Here's hoping we get the weather to warrant the minimalist build.
