You know what you're getting with a movie directed by Zach Braff. Okay so he's only made one but Garden State was almost a genre in itself. From the carefully constructed indie soundtrack to the expertly placed pearls of hipster wisdom scattered throughout, it was responsible for a whole heap of carbon copies.
But the real Braff is back with his controversially Kickstarter-funded follow-up Wish I Was Here, and the new trailer offers exactly what you would hope for and expect: soul-searching, a man searching his soul and souls being searched. With The Shins or something playing in the background.
The comedy drama, which also stars Kate Hudson, probably isn't going to convert anyone but if you like that sort of thing, it looks like a winner.
However, if you don't then here's a chicken walking like a penguin.
Wish I Was Here slow-mos into cinemas on September 19th
