Although his role as "that guy who treats his 30-year-old daughter like a child" in the Taken franchise is coming to and end with this weekend's release of Taken 3 or Tak3n as it's inexplicably called in ads, there looks to be no end in sight to Liam Neeson's old man action career.
The trailer has just dropped for his next offering, the delayed thriller Run All Night, which sees him protecting his son from a crime boss who wants him dead. It's a fun, if exhausting, concept that looks set to be played over just one night and will feature plenty of bullets, punching and smug one-liners.
Neeson is joined by Ed Harris and Joel Kinnaman for the chaos.
Run All Night hits cinemas on May 1
