Alright, so we admit it. When it was announced that Spider-Man was getting a reboot just five years after the last Sam Raimi/Tobey Maguire instalment, we were unsure to say the least.
But, after seeing this rather impressive new trailer, we're feeling pretty excited.
The new look at Sony's big summer blockbuster gives us a better idea of how the plot will differentiate from the previous films. While there are some similarities (the high school setting, the relationship with Oscorp), there's also plenty that's new (new villain, new love interest, more insight into who his real parents were).
Oh and Spider-Man has turned into a bit of a wisecrack-er. Who knew?
The Amazing Spider-Man will be released in cinemas on July 3rd, in 3D.
