If you've browsed around ShortList.com for any time longer than it takes to read this sentence, you'll know we like films and posters. Alternative film posters get us positively giddy with excitement.
We were thus thrilled when Chicago-based gallery Galerie F got in touch to show us the work of Justin VanGenderen. Titled 'Location, location, location', VanGenderen's collection of posters looks to draw focus to a film's setting, with an appropriate tagline of, "Bringing the background to the foreground".
Each piece contains a neat nod toward their film's subject matter - some more subtly than others, but all with rather stunning results. We'll leave you to work out the film from each piece.
You can head over to Galerie F's site for more of VanGenderen's work.

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
