There's a small chance that you've heard about a new sci-fi film that's due later in the year. Star something...what was it? Oh yes, Star Wars. Well, a lot of people are getting very excited, and one of those is illustrator Gerard 'George' Folz.
As a fun project, he's spending every day this year turning a scene from one of the existing movies into a comic book panel. We're a week in and it's looking very good so far, with immaculate recreations of Darth, Leia and the rest of the gang.
Follow him on Twitter here to get your daily Star Wars comic dose direct into your feed and in the meantime check out the first seven of the series below.

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
