Out of the whole Muppet gang, it's the beleaguered Kermit who comes off as the least likely to get into any trouble. Always acting as a moral compass for his colleagues and desperately trying to ensure situations run smoothly, he borders on being a goody two-shoes.
So, you'll probably be as surprised as we are to hear that he's now the most wanted puppet in Germany.
Last November he presented a "Disney Day" of programming yet went rogue when he unleashed a torrent of abuse. Well, he mentioned that The Muppets Movie was now out in cinemas.
If you know as much as we do about German television regulations then you'll also be unaware that any product placement has to be clearly identified. Kermit's obscene violation has only just been brought up by Germain TV regulating body ZAK, who are surely rubbing their hands in glee at the destruction of a much-loved amphibian.
The channel Pro7 has admitted the error and we now fear for Kermit's safety when he next tries to enter the country.
