Justin Bieber's 'What Do You Mean' just got an amazing '80s reworking

If you ask us, the best era for Justin Bieber music was the eighties.

This isn’t some slight at the musician who was born in 1994, you understand - we just mean his songs improve tenfold when you add a dollop of retro synth, smooth jazz crescendo and a mullet Wham would have been proud of.

Entitled What Do You Mean Its 1985?, this is an odd, if wonderful, eighties reworking of the Bieb’s recent club banger, transforming What Do You Mean? in a way few could have never thought possible. An audible time hop like no other, we can thank Tronicbox for this unique remix.

But what will Justin think? Having successfully navigated his way from brattish tween-throb to adult artist grown men can openly enjoy, if he’s got his wits about him, JB will jump on a 1980s cover album immediately.

Or at the very least let Midge Ure support him on his next tour. His call.
