The Jamaicans could be heading to the Winter Olympics once again, as their bobsleigh team is set to qualify for the forthcoming Sochi Games.
If they make it, it will be their first appearance for 12 years and, of course, will evoke memories of the classic 1993 movie Cool Runnings, which was based on the nation's qualification for the 1988 Calgary Games.
The duo is comprised of Winston Watts and Marvin Dixon, and they're expected to qualify when they take part in an event in St Moritz this weekend.
Speaking to the Telegraph, Watts explained that financial difficulties had necessitated changing from the four-man event to two-man, saying "I just about get by financially. Beg, scrape, it's hard. I've got headaches a lot of times man, believe you me. Sometimes my coach says 'just focus' and I say 'how?' I just trust things will turn over OK."
If they make it, we'll all be cheering them on and clutching our lucky eggs. And if they put in another heroic performance, maybe the greatest slow-handclap in movie history will happen again. We can but hope...
