Wonder no more. The futuristic blue beams shooting across this visualised 3D map below represent all the commercial aircraft which travel through the five biggest air spaces in the North Atlantic on any regular day.
Designed by the clever folk at Nautical Air Traffic Services, or NATS for short, the video uses the real time information gathered by the computer systems over a single 24 hour period to show just how hectic the hubbub of the airline industry truly is.
Let’s just say that we’ll be looking up at the sky a bit more anxiously now.
