

After the book became the most talked about piece of literature since, ermm, The Bible (?), it was only natural that a big-screen adaptation would soon follow.
It's already been confirmed that The Social Network producers Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti are onboard after Universal paid a whopping $5 million for the rights for EL James's (picture 2) best-seller.
But American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis (picture 3) has revealed via Twitter that he thinks porn star turned actor James Deen might be our Christian Grey:
It's unconfirmed but Ellis has had a keen interest on the project and wanted to pen the script originally. Deen is moving away from his adult career and can next be seen opposite Lindsay Lohan in The Canyons, written by Ellis himself.
