If there's something strange in your neighbourhood, who ya gunna call? Marc-André Caron. No, really.
A French animator and LEGO enthusiast, MonsieurCaron is a seriously skilled brick builder. In his search to create an entry to the annual Brickfilm festival - which sees LEGO animators show off their short film making skills - Caron looked to pay homage to the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters.
Using the recently-released LEGO Ideas set 21108 (the model Ecto-1, but you knew that), Caron's short is a cute-yet-faithful recreation of the sequence in which parapsychologists Dr. Peter Venkman , Dr. Raymond Stanz, and Dr. Egon Spengler look to capture their first ghost, the ever-ravenous Slimer.
Given a lack of LEGO-sized Slimers, Caron improvised with an unlikely character. Be sure to check out more of his work on his YouTube channel.
Ghostbusters I & II Anniversary Box Set is available on Blu-ray on 1 September
