Comedy genius Gene Wilder has sadly passed away at the age of 83 after battling Alzheimer's, going off to Join David Bowie, Prince, Alan Rickman and all the other legends we've lost this year.
Although most will remember Wilder for his iconic role in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory donning a debonair purple velvet jacket that has been immortalized into a sarcastic meme, we're here to argue that this outfit doesn't even come close to being his most stylish.
