Tormund and The Hound made a 'Game of Thrones' behind-the-scenes video and it'll make your day

Their bromance just got even better

Tormund and The Hound made a 'Game of Thrones' behind-the-scenes video and it'll make your day

This article contains spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 7, Episode 6.

Yes, the most recent episode of Game of Thrones may have given us an epic north of the Wall battle; it may have given us a flaming zombie bear and the monumental death of a dragon, but if you don’t think the best part of the episode was Tormund and The Hound getting to know each other, then you’re a damn liar, son.

Sandor and Tormund are slowly forming the bromance we never knew we needed – until now – and it’s beautiful to watch. The Hound may have told Tormund to fuck off roughly 400 times, but there was love behind those words – you just know it.

Their conversation about Brienne was pure TV gold – “You do know her!” – and that nod they gave each other at the end of the episode showed a strong mutual respect. I’m praying we get to see more of these two together.

But until we do, well, we have something almost as good. Maybe better, actually.

Tormund actor Kristofer Hivju has shared a video on his Instagram of Rory McCann (The Hound) singing traditional folk song ‘Yellow Bird’, and it’s hilarious for several reasons.

Here it is, in all its glory:

Firstly, it’s obviously just great to see The Hound strumming a guitar and singing a chirpy folk song, because The Hound is the grumpiest man in all of Westeros, and Rory McCann is like, the happiest man on Earth. Those actors who only play roles that are basically just exaggerated versions of themselves? Yeah, this is not one of those.

Also, Krisofer Hivju just randomly popping his beardy ginger face really close to the screen at random intervals makes me crack up every time.

The whole thing is just so joyful. I love it. I have watched it about 18 times already. Send it to everyone you know, it will brighten up their day.
