A club's most fervent supporters will often sing that they're fans "til I die" - and now even death may not be an impediment to staying true to their team.
Brazilian club Corinthians is opening a cemetery for supporters who want to be buried near to their favourite players, in a club-affiliated area. The "Corinthians Forever" cemetery will be cited near Sao Paulo, and up to 70,000 plots will be available. Legendary players from the club's past will be offered spaces in the area, which will have function rooms, landscaped gardens, a lake, nature reserve and even a restaurant.
The price for your eternal support will be between 4,500 and 7,800 reals (£1170-£2027) depending on how close you want to get to your idols and, with 25 million supporters across the country, there could be some serious competition for spaces.
Considering the top price season ticket at Arsenal is around the same cost as the priciest plot, it doesn't seem like a bad deal; there'll probably be more atmosphere there than at the Emirates.
