First it was Clarkson, Hammond and May and now Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston is getting down with the Amazon Prime guys.
A first trailer has landed for his new TV show on the streaming service and it's looking good. Sneaky Pete features Giovanni Ribisi as a man who leaves prison and takes hold of his former cellmate's identity in an effort to avoid the attentions of the mob. Margo Martindale and Marin Ireland star alongside Cranston, who also executive produces with David Shore (the man who created House and who has written this episode) and Seth Gordon.
The pilot hits Amazon prime on 7 August (this coming Friday) and it'll need positive votes in order for the show to be commissioned for a full series, but on the evidence of this and the calibre of people involved, you'd have to think it's got a great chance.
And just in case you'd forgotten how brilliant the man is, there's a couple of classic Cranston moments below the trailer. Enjoy.
