Job available. Skills required: deception, cheating, lying, exaggeration and backstabbing.
No, your local MP hasn't retired leaving a vacant seat. There's a job going in A&R at a record label. Oh, it'd also be useful if you're well into coke and hookers and not too bothered about the actual 'music' thing.
The first teaser trailer has emerged for the film Kill Your Friends, a new UK film directed by Owen Harris and based on the cult 2008 book by A&R man-turned-author John Niven.
A (very) dark comedy, it tells the story of Steven Stelfox, a talent spotter in the glory days of the British music industry - the late nineties - when music was awash with money from the Britpop era and more drugs than you could shake a stick at.
It stars Nicholas Hoult as Stelfox, alongside Rosanna Arquette, James Cordon and Craig Roberts. Focusing on the detestable anti-hero Stelfox as he navigates his way through the shark-infested waters of the British music industry. Where success is everything before everything goes a little bit dark.
Watch it below.
Kill Your Friends hits cinemas 6 November
