Just when we thought the idea of a Dumb & Dumber sequel couldn't possibly be any dumber, the Farrelly brothers go and do something like this…and totally redeem themselves!

Yes, the trailer for the cannily-titled Dumb & Dumber To, which sees Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their roles as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dune, will have many wondering why they ever doubted this sequel to the mid-90s monster comedy smash. Ourselves included.

Little has changed in the 20 years since we last met the brainless duo: same outfits, same apartment, same shaggy automobile and, terrifically, the same great chemistry as the pair hunt down Harry's estranged daughter.

We’ll be dusting off our luminous tuxedos come early November.
