First 007 Skyfall Image Released

Bond is back, well, t’other week he was as the first behind the scenes shot to emerge from Skyfall was plastered all over the interweb. Geddit? It was of his back? Oh, nevermind. Now he’s front and centre following the first official pic being issued to accompany the eagerly awaited new 007 film.

The shot is typically evocative – Daniel Craig, sporting a rather rugged five o’ clock shadow, holds a pistol in a gloved hand in a dark and mysterious room adorned with lots of neon lettering and symbols.

So what does it all mean? It has a certain Oriental vibe to it – that’ll be the neon; but it could just be the server room in the Bank of England. And what’s with the stubble? Has Bond been hanging out in Dalston? Perhaps not, if that crewcut is anything to go by.

Whatever, Bond is back – yes he is – and we’re officially giddy.

Skyfall will be released on October 26th
