Exclusive Clip Of James Franco In Prison For New Film 'True Story'
Like him or loathe him, you can’t deny that James Franco is a pretty versatile chap. In recent years he’s appeared in everything from Spiderman to Spring Breakers, by way of queasy solo show 127 Hours and a whole host more in between.
He’s also directed his own projects, studied degrees, written articles and hosted his own exhibitions. As current Hollywood polymaths go he’s pretty much top of the pile.
New film True Story sees a likely return to form from Franco: based around the real-life memoirs of journalist Michael Finkel (played by Jonah Hill), Franco stars as Christian Longo, a man on the FBI’s most wanted list, accused of murdering his wife and three children.
Whilst hiding out in Mexico, Longo assumes the identity of Finkel, sparking an ongoing obsession with the writer, culminating in them meeting while Longo is in prison. The film explores their unique, dramatic and often truly bizarre relationship.
Check out Franco in full manipulative prisoner mode below.
True Story is in cinemas this Friday 17th
