Pharrell Williams likes to keep himself busy. Nerve-shreddingly, does-he-ever-stop busy.
In addition to releasing his second solo studio album Girl in March, 2014 has seen the ever-young artist and producer embark on a European tour, taken to one of the revolving seats in the US version of The Voice, curate an art show, release a fragrance, collaborate with adidas on a clothing line and worke with Mr. Fantasista Utamaro to create the most brow-raising music video of the year. And there are still two months of the year left.
In addition to playing London's O2, Pharrell's October is set to be filled with the release of another larger-than-life music video. His Daft Punk collaboration Gust of Wind, taken from Girl, has received the treatment of Shaun of the Dead director Edgar Wright - with the following teaser hinting at a video of epic scale. The full video is "Coming Soon", but it's already done enough to capture our interest.
You never know, it might even reveal the source to the fountain of youth Pharrell has been quaffing from all these years.
