Having done his utmost to reinvigorate the male hat industry, the forever young Pharrell Williams has devoted his considerable skill on a new collaboration with adidas Originals. That, or he sent them a post-it note with the words "Bold" and "Leather" written on it. Either way, he's done wonders.
The resulting adidas Consortium pack works around three choice colours: red, black and blue. The ever-iconic Stan Smith tennis shoe has been reworked in premium leather, with the namesake player appearing in negative on the tongue tab, while a variation of the adidas stripe appears on the heel.
Yet more striking are Pharrell's sports-styled leather jackets - a throwback to a '90s look that sees the trade marked Three Stripes run the length of the arms.
Set to arrive at adidas stockists on 20 September, the jackets likely to remain an online exclusive, keep your eyes on adidas.co.uk/pharrellwilliams for more news on the collaboration.
