Ed Harris is reportedly set to take the title role in a modern day version of William Shakespeare's romance/tragedy/comedy (it can be all three!) Cymbeline.
Deadline suggest Harris will play King Cymbeline, alongside Ethan Hawke, who joined the cast last week in an unspecified role. The two have never worked together before.
Cymbeline, which will start production in New York ion August 19, will focus on the battle between corrupt cops and a drug-dealing biker gang.
Hawke has previously starred in the 2000 movie Hamlet which was directed by Michael Almereyda. Almereyda is dusting down his quill to write and direct Cymbeline, with Anthony Katagas (Killing Them Softly) producing.
