The release of a new Tarantino film is something worth noting in your diary with a giant red cross that's also been underlined, circled and emblazened with a parade of bright LED lights.
So please open your stationery drawer and unleash garish hell on January 18th 2013.
That's the date that sees the UK release of Django Unchained, his latest combination of violence, quips, funk and Samuel L Jackson. The leads are Jamie Foxx and Christophe Waltz who star as slave and bounty hunter, respectively, and the film follows their journey to track down the vicious Brittle brothers.
It also stars a villanious Leonardo DiCaprio, Kurt Russell and, hoping for a comeback, Don Johnson. Tarantino regular Samuel L Jackson tags along as DiCaprio's trusted house slave.
The first trailer has just been unveiled and it's familiar but exciting stuff.
Oh and Django has a silent D...
Django Unchained is released in cinemas on January 18th
