Never mind popcorn, you'll want some tasty prawns to accompany this excellent new CineFix creation.
The Dutton brothers have worked their magic on Neill Blomkamp's 2009 sci-fi classic District 9, recreating the epic tale as an 8-bit (with a little bit of 16-bit thrown in too) videogame.
As you'd expect for a film with alien weapons, exosuits and giant motherships, it lends itself rather well to an old school shoot-em-up extravaganza as you guide Wikus through District 9, with 'prawn' Christopher Johnson alongside him.
Buckle up for a hugely enjoyable three minutes.

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
