Carlsberg don't do male grooming products, but if they... sorry - we got stuck in a marketing loop.
Anyway, they do do male grooming products. Which is ridiculous. What next - a craft IPA from Dove?
There is a point to Carlsberg's PR-fuelled product expansion though. In 1875, J C Jacobson set up the Carlsberg Laboratory in Copenhagen, Denmark. Its central aim? To research and improve the complicated art of brewing beer. A scientific piss up in a brewery, if you will.
To celebrate the 140th anniversary of the brand's foray into research, they've teamed up with fellow Dane's Urtegaarden to create a line of beer-tinged male grooming products.
Consisting of a shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, each of the solutions contains 0.5 litres of freeze-dried Carlsberg beer. Apparently, the Vitamin B and silicum found in the lager is good (or, in cosmetic talk, 'beautifying') for both hair and skin.
Available for around £45, the range is only available through Carlsberg's online shop or at consumer events which will be held to celebrate the lab's 140th anniversary.
Or if you can't be bothered to pick up the specially formulated products, you could try splashing a bottle of your preferred brew around in the shower. If anyone asks, you don't have a problem, science told you to do it.
Set the shower to Extra Cold.
