Live in London? Stuck for ideas of what to do when your family pop down from the country for a weekend?

You're in luck.

The View - the viewing area atop the 306-metre Shard tower - is running a limited offer that sees anyone buying one of their Love London cards gain unlimited access for the rest of the year.

For the special price of £20.16 (entry is usually £25.95), the card holder will be able to revisit The View area at the top of the Shard until 31 December 2016.

However, with only 2,106 cards up for grabs (see what they did there?), you'll have to make a trip to The View's ticket desk pronto.

The View's website explains that the following proof of London residency must be presented:

To qualify, potential card-holders must live in a London borough and must show one of the following as proof of address: Council Tax bill; Utility bill; Phone/broadband/internet bill; Bank Statement; Letter or official document from local council/government department; Letter or statement from a store card or loyalty scheme; Driving License with a current address. Valid Photo ID must also be presented upon purchase of the card.

Only one Love London card can be purchased per person and they cannot be purchased on behalf of someone else.

There are apparently still over 1,000 tickets available, so best take a long lunch to get your hands on one.
