If you came here to watch henchmen get beating senseless in gratuitous slow motion, you're in luck.
The Dark Knight has returned, slicker and shiner than ever, to bring his rough brand of justice to the latest generation of consoles in Batman: Arkham Knight.
Set a year after the events of Arkham City, Knight sees Batman struggling to come to turns with the death of the Joker: crime rates have fallen, Gotham citizens feel safer than ever, and Batman unsettled by the absence of carnage created by his long-time adversary. But old enemies are still at large, with Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn forming an unlikely alliance with the sole aim of killing the Bat. To make matters worse, Scarecrow is planning something deadly for Halloween, and an armed vigilante described as the Arkham Knight is amassing a sizeable army.
With new moves, new toys and (most importantly) a missile-firing Batmobile, you can gain a flavour of the action to come in the new gameplay trailer below.
(Batman: Arkham Knight arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on 2 June 2015)
