Just when you thought there was no Batman news - here, have some more!
Hot on the heels of Zack Snyder's impending Batman and Superman blockbuster and Batman Arkham Asylum coming to every console ever, Fox have got in the act, announcing that Commissioner Gordon will soon be coming to the small screen.
Coming from the pen of The Mentalist creator Bruno Heller, Gotham will follow a fresh-faced Detective James Gordon on the beat in the crime-laden city. Though it won't feature the Dark Knight, do expect the odd Batman villain to pop up here and there.
Last portrayed on screen by Gary Oldman, there's no word yet who'll get the nod to play the wee James Gordon. Matt Damon definitely gets our vote - even if only because the internet might actually eat itself.
