It's a truth that should be universally acknowledged: cartoons make everything better. They're bright, vivid and enables the illustrator to make characters do whatever they want, without being bounded by minor annoyances such as the rules of gravity, or logic.
And no-one believes this more than Los Angeles artist Justin White, who has created a gallery of cartoons, depicting popular scenes from film and TV shows that will never actually become animated (despite the fact we'd like them to).
Examples including Fargo, The Shining and The Office are shown below, while the show will also feature illustrations from titles as diverse as Psycho and Saved By The Bell.
The Rated G art show will take place at Gallery1988 Melrose in LA and it opens on Friday November 30. Check out Facebook for more info.

He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
