Twelve men are trapped in a blizzard in the most isolated part of the world. Ok, not an ideal scenario, but we can think of worse. How about being forced to live in The Only Way is Essex for the rest of your days. Shudder.
Hang on, though, what’s this? One of the 12 men is not human. Eek! John Carpenter’s 1982 movie The Thing is the quintessential science fiction horror film. Just thinking about those extra-terrestrial lifeforms imitating humans gives us the shivers.
So it was with a heavy heart that we spied these alternative posters for Carpenter’s cult classic. Thankfully, we calmed down and remembered it was just a film and then we remembered the tagline: Man is the warmest place to hide.
