A summer of al fresco cinema

A summer of al fresco cinema
20 May 2014

If you’ve got sense, taste and access to a TV and/or DVD player, you’ve almost certainly seen the following films: Top Gun, Pulp Fiction, Goldfinger, The Goonies and Jurassic Park. However, have you seen them on an outdoor big screen in a ludicrously picturesque environment? Yeah, thought not.

Well, that’s all set to change from 21 June onwards, as we’ve teamed up with the folks at excellent pop-up cinema Nomad for their 2014 film season. As well as the classics already listed above, the four-month season will give you a chance to see ET, Casablanca, Zoolander and many, many more on al fresco big screens at locations such as Fulham Palace, Hyde Park Lido, Coram Secret Garden and Brompton Cemetery, which will provide a suitably eerie atmosphere for both The Dark Knight and The Matrix.
