

We have a lot to be thankful to France for. Great cheese, great wine, Claude Debussy, Eric Cantona. But, probably, their greatest gift to the world is cinema.
They invented cinématographie and hosted the first private and public 'film' screening before spreading the idea to the rest of the world with, it's fair to say, pretty good results.
