We actually cannot believe that this year marks 30 years since the release of Ghostbusters. It doesn't feel right somehow, especially seeing as we've spent a good deal of those 30 years just thinking about Ghostbusters.
On reflection, though, it was time well spent, as this fantastic set of art demonstrates the vivid characters, stories and imagery of the classic film. They're taken from a 30th Anniversary Travelling Art Show, curated by the good people at Gallery1988 and we've picked our favourite 8 pieces - many more will be on display in the flesh.
The show runs in New York April 19-26, Los Angeles May 17-June 1, Chicago June 20-22, before finishing at the San Diego Comic Con

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
