It's hard enough getting rumbled while up to no good, but when someone photographs the whole incident it's plain humiliating.

Spare a thought, then, for this winged robber who was grabbed by a sparrow while it was trying to pinch some dinner.

Urs Schmidli (points for the name) photographed the birds squabbling in mid-air combat in his back garden in Switzerland. Sunny in Switzerland, much?

Urs takes his pictures at such speed that he does not even know what images of the secret lives of sparrows he has captured until he checks his view finder.
