Britain from above


While we've shown some love to America from above recently, we thought it only fair to salute the brilliance of Great Britain from a great height as well.

While we're undoubtedly amazed by what's on offer here from aerial photographer Jason Hawkes, we're probably more amazed that he took all of the pictures with a mobile phone. A Nokia N8 to be specific.

Hawkes took to the sky and snapped views of Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and London for us to gawp at.

This now gives us zero excuse not to take better photos with our phone. Oh, hang on, we don't have the helicopter he travelled in. See, yeah there's our excuse.
