Awkward holiday photos

As Danny Wallace discusses the hidden cost of cheap holidays, it's worth taking a look at one of the other inarguably awful elements of going away.

Group photos tend to be humiliating in normal life and especially at Christmas but on holiday, it seems to sting a little more.

Despite trying to showcase how much genuine fun is being had and how relaxed and tanned you really look, the results can often be a heartbreaking misfire. Your face is burnt, your mum's still angry about being thrown in the pool and that new sombrero you thought was funny is really not funny at all.

You can find plenty more awkwardness here.
