This LEGO enthusiast just built the most incredible home train set of all time

No matter how cool you might think you are now, admit it: when you were a wee nipper, you loved LEGO, and you loved trains.

So you’re going to absolutely love the new video posted by YouTuber TrainGuy 659, who has unveiled the latest setup of his giant Lego railway which runs through his house, his garden, round his pool and – seemingly – out onto the street. You’d never get away with that in the UK, someone would just come along and nick it.

After building this magnificent creation, he mounted a GoPro camera to the front, pressed record and off we go. It is both soothing and inspiring – just take a look below.

And as if that wasn’t enough, he’s also shared a video of his top fails from the year, featuring his intrepid trains’ struggles against bad weather and unplanned animals on the line. To be fair, most of the time, the train makes it through these obstacles, which is more than can be said for Southern Rail.

And if you still want more, here’s a video of last year’s set up.
